It’s the end of day two at the World
Internet Summit UK, and I'm inspired and exhausted in about equal measures. The exhausted part might have something to do with an intensive nights networking (a.k.a. drinking) last night and into the early wee hours of the morning, but that’s another story! Well, maybe not: spending time with like-minded and positive people is a major part of these things, and one of my reasons for being here. Unfortunately
one of the down sides of getting older is that my body just won’t take the abuse any more and the recovery time gets longer, hence an early night tonight to refresh for tomorrow.
But back to the summit itself. The Internet Challenge is well underway, and
the winner, a nice chap called Simon, has already made several thousand dollars – how cool is that?! If you’re interested in finding out what it’s all about and having the chance to learn from some of the worlds greatest internet marketers, take a look at Simon's new website: http://myburningquestion.com
We’ve heard from some of these experts today – they really do give tons of information, and in the case of the lovely Morgan Westerman, doughnuts as an added bonus! What a lovely man – it’s the third time I’ve heard him speak and he’s definitely on my list of people to work with in the future. We’ve also seen the inspiring Mike Filsaime, he of Butterfly Marketing fame, and one of my mentors on the I5 Gold
programme. I have picked up some great tips from these and the fab combination of Michel Fortin and Sylvie Charrier. Yesterday I learned from Brett McFall and Tom Hua, not to mention the chats with Ted Ciuba amongst other in the bar last night. And there are two more days to go – woo-hoo!
I think I've become a bit of a seminar junky. Well, there are worse things in life!
