I start my NLP Master Practitioner training on Saturday, and I can't tell you how excited I am! This couldn't have come at a better time for me, as the challenges of the last few months have brought up a whole load of my "stuff" ready to be dealt with whilst we go through the training. Someone told me a while ago that we'd all be finding it difficult to find stuff to deal with by about halfway through the training, which I certainly experienced on the Practitioner training, so it'll be very interesting to see how things pan out over the next couple of weeks. You see, the way it works is thus: we are taught a tool or technique, it is demonstrated with a brave volunteer on stage, and then we go off into pairs or groups to practice it on each other. This checks our understanding, proves it to the coaches (if they are not happy the trainee is asked to do it again until they are), and of course has the added benefit of being on the receiving end at some point. Master Practitioner will expand on the tools and techniques learnt at Practitioner level, and teach us how to bring them all together to perform a complete Breakthrough session lasting for several hours. So I am expecting immense changes and shifts, as you can imagine! Ooooh, I can hardly wait!
